Sitting in Fort Lauderdale

As you can hopefully see from the picture above, our flight from Reagan International to Fort Lauderdale was one in which we had extra leg room. Our flight was uneventful, at least I assume it was since I slept through most of it. We are now sitting, rather laying at the airport in Ft Lauderdale waiting for our flight to Lima, Peru at 5:15. In case anyone is wondering what one does during a four hour layover at an airport here are some pics showing what we do...

If you can't tell, Mikey is intently playing Pokemon on the Gameboy while Brian is trying to catch 30 seconds of sleep in between texts from the homefront.

In all seriousness though, the Lord has blessed us with extremely smooth travel so far and we are trusting Him to get us all the way to the Bjurs in Chile. As always, we appreciate your prayers!

  2. Great pics :) - This is so exciting- and how great for you to get to serve the Lord with brothers! I am praying you guys will be able to catch lots of glimpses of His glory- He is so BIG and AWESOME all you need is a little glimpse! He always gives us just what we need. Don't forget to keep getting fed with the Word yourselves!
    Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

  3. Looking forward to following your blog and seeing how God is working in you all and through you. What a wonderful opportunity. So proud to know young men who are not wasting their youth but using it for God' glory.
